Individual Web Design
As the heading suggests, this is a website tailor made to your exacting standards which is individually designed to be unique. It is therefore the most expensive route to take when considering purchasing a website design. Here at Dkinweb we take this in to consideration and only charge you from the moment you agree the web page design (graphical bit!) – Once you agree the final web page design you only pay for the build of the web site from then on unless you decide to purchase Premium Web Templates
Small Website 1 to 5 pages $300
The basic website package is an introduction into website's for those individuals who need a presence on the internet but who don't have the big bucks to achieve this. Ideal for small personal/family web sites.
The small website package once started can be completed and running from anywhere between 5 - 7 days on average, once the final design has been agreed.
Larger Website 1 to 25 pages $585
The intermediate website is design for the small business that need a larger presence on the internet so they can attract new business and promote their services to the wider world.
The larger website package once started can be completed and running from anywhere between 5 - 14 days on average, once the final design has been agreed.
*Extra pages added to the website above the limits for each package are based on a flat rate of $20 for each extra page.
Website Re-design
Dkinweb specializes in website re-design. Taking an old and dated looking website and dragging it into the modern day internet. It involves improving the graphics and optimizing the content and file names to be more search engine friendly. This is difficult to quantify and therefore we charge $20/hour.
Website maintenance
Involves paying Dkinweb the flat rate of $20 – hour for any of the following:
- Adding new pages and or products
- Updating news and page information
- Adding new services to the website like: PDF, MPEG, MP3 Downloads, Forums and Guestbook, Forms etc.
Content Management System/CMS
“A content management system is a computer software system for organizing and facilitating collaborative creation of documents and other content. A content management system is sometimes a web application used for managing website's and web content.” (From Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia)
So to keep cost down you could choose a Content Management System/CMS like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc and or a Premium Web Templates as the base for your web site and then have Dkinweb design the skin around this system. This can be a very cheap way of having a website online in the shortest amount of time. Because this type of web site is mostly contained using the free CMS and the only modifications would be to the web site skin, I would be charging a price from the design phase as well as the build and installation.
There are downsides to CMS
- They are database systems, usually with php and mysql, which can involves a more expensive service provider for your website.
- Because they are database driven they can have a negative affect on Search Engine Optimization – SEO, but as these systems improve this is becoming less of an issue.
- If you maintain the system in house you will find yourself on a steep learning curve, as they can be very complicated to use.
So this is basically a completed website that needs very little work and can be set up by the person wanting a quick and easy website in a day or two. With this in mind if you do not feel confident doing this yourself we offer a set up service for a *one time fee of $110. This involves:
- Downloading and unzipping file to my computer.
- FTP unzipped files to you host provider.
- Configure you host to accept the CMS website.
- Set up emails and ensure it all works.
- *No design work.

CMS site skinning (design) is based on a flat fee of $250 with some designing like custom header and color configuration.
Sorry but we do not design Flash™ based designs, should you require one we can put you in contact with a company that offers this service.
We require all web sites designed by us to carry the Website Design by www.dkinweb.com or similar phrase on each page. Should you wish to have this removed then a 10% additional charge will apply.
